Title: faster geese

is there any way of gettting a goose ready for oven wieght before september.... ive kept geese before but dont want 10 geese all ready at the same time ie xmas and micalmiss (thats wrong) if so i would keep a few this year..... currently got a trio of embdens.....if not i suppose freezing for during next year is the only solution

Hi,yes just keep stuffing them full of pellets,growers to start with and then turkey/cockerel finishers for the last month or so.Should have them ready in about 12 weeks or so.

dont think i fancy that......will have to do it the grazing etc way and freeze them for next year although i believe a september goose should be ok
