i have been asked by a friend to try and find a wether as a companion for their ryeland ram. now his services are no longer required by the ladies he is not a happy boy and needs a companion to live with.
they are in cambridgeshire / hertfordshire area.

We have extremely friendly Gotland and GotlandxTeeswater wethers, but, who will the wether have for company when the ram is working? We normally advise a couple to go with a ram. We're in South Lincs so not terribly far away. See what others advise.

Our wether keeps the ewe lambs company when the tup is working

I am probably too far away (based between Bristol and Gloucester), but have 5 wethers each looking for a companion home :innocent: All lovely looking lads, with one in particular VERY friendly!

i must have had a senior moment (not for 1 minute did i think of him) a friend of ours has a 1000 strong herd so we are waiting for him to round one up today.

Glad you've got a friend coming for him ;D . We all need company. Our ram, Winston, started off with our donkeys. They got on just fine but now he has company of a few of his sons and another young fella now. They need to play and practice on someone (donkeys were a bit high up but I'm sure he'd have tried if he could :o )
