Just a quickie...... For those of you selling on to others, - do you have it? And if so, who with?
Cheers :)

Why would you want it.

I don't have indemnity insurance, but I do have product & public liability insurance (is that the same thing ? :dunce:) to cover pork and soap sales, myself and livestock when at events and shows and anyone who comes here on a pig keeping course.
Mine's with Cliverton.

How are the little Large Blacks doing now Mrs S ? :excited:

What does it cover you against?
Normally indemnities are a good way of protecting yourself, but I am more used to dealing with financial or legal indemnities, and I am not sure what indemnity insurance would protect you from?
Is it in case someone raises an indemnity against you?

My concern was with the meat, just in case some idiot thinks that they will have a pop, or even someone perhaps taking a box then not realising how heavy it was, and falling. (I know that sounds stupid but unfortunately we live in funny times)
Meat side, Obviously we will be inspected by the local FS officials and they will keep records but I just wondered whether this is really sufficient back up to say, yeah, everything was done properly and that there is categorically no liability on our part.
