Dear Tizaala
I have seen from a previous post that you live not far from Di Grenyer at The Tack Room. I have just received the most amazing service from her (winter turn out coats for our 3 old sheep) and I've ordered a little gift to send her to say thank you. Do you think I should hold off sending it, or do you think she will be receiving a postal delivery? I know you have a lot of snow, but I don't know whether your postal service is getting though.
I cannot sing Di's praises highly enough as she has really gone above and beyond what I could ever have expected. She even loaned me her own donkey coat to keep a particularly arthritic sheep warm while she made the coats.
I'm sorry for troubling you, but if you have a minute I'd be grateful to hear from you.
Many thanks
Fiona

Hi I hope you don't mind me replying, I am not too far away from the tack room either so thought it might be helpful :)
We haven't had any post delivered since the the snow started last week, I am not close enough to tell you the situation next to the tack room but know that it is quite out of the way, also if people are able to get out in a 4x4 they are sometimes able to make arrangements to collect their post from a certain location during the snow. The forecast is for warmer weather at the weekend so it may be worthwhile holding back posting anything just for a couple more days or so.
A friend of mine has rugs adjusted and made by Di for her horses and sheep and always really pleased everything Di makes :)

Not at all! Thank you very much, Blacksheep, for taking the time to reply. You have helped me decide what to do - which is to hold off sending the gift to Di until the end of the week.
