Title: Where can I buy Hubbards or other meat birds near Oxford

Hi

I'm looking to try some meat chickens in the spring and wonder if anyone knows where I could buy some 3 or 4 week old Hubbards or similar from?
We are based in Didcot, Oxfordshire and have several places that sell laying hens, but haven't found anywhere close to buy meat birds.
We are only looking for about 10 birds to start with.

Hi, I live in Oxfordshire (west) and I got mine delivered from Cyril Basson when I ordered a load of POL, you could try Hook Hatcheries who are based near Witney, not sure if they sell to public but we got some through someone who worked there. Have you had them before as we tried them but were not too happy with how they grow. They make great weight but it is almost cruel at the rate they grow and they don't move far from the food bowl!
