Hi peeps,
             Has anyone on here live or know what its like in Tibshelf,Derbyshire ?
We have seen a small place there that we are going to view and i wondered if anyone had
Any local knowledge ?
From research the schools seem good which is an important factor for us.

It's quite a nice little place, close to the countryside but good commuting links being close to the M1 as well. You've got the likes of Derby, Nottingham, Chesterfield and the Peak District not too far away. I used to go up there when I was a kid round the nature trails. I'd say it was a typical 'pit village' but seems to have improved over the years. Can't tell you about the schools, with not having children myself, but it's definitely worth a look.  :)

as above, a nice mining village, improved access to bigger (and, I suppose smaller) places..
schools - have a search online, think they've had good ofsteds
