just wondered if anyone knows what is involved in bringing a young dog in to the UK from Germany ? Wouldn't consider it if it meant putting it through quarantine so hoping it could travel on a pet passport or something :-\

Just check with your vet....jabs needed for rabies, then a blood test and vet signed papers to say he was wormed just before transport....but no quarentine so fairly easy.

Agree with Mel, pretty easy these days. Most vets can let you know what's needed. Dogs are travelling to and from eu regularly for shows and competitions since quarantine slackened.
