Stayed up all night with her as she was a bit ferocoious with the first two babies, OH came in at 11pm and helped me latch the 8 that had been born on, then he buggered off to bed and she had another two mixed in a monumnetal afterbirth.

they are british lops. really pleased as her and her sister (she had 8) were covered by a young unproved boar. the one that farrowed 8 on the 2nd was his first cover and with out going into too many details shared his semen between the gilt and my mother :roflanim: (needles to say mum non too pleased as she does not have much to do with the pigs but i needed a extra pair of hands)

Oh my - poor mum :roflanim: :roflanim: :roflanim:
That's great though - hope they all continue to do well and you're blessed with milder temperatures for the next 3 or 4 days :fc:

Erm, off the top of my head I think we're up to 14 litters so far, so these next ones will be 15, 16 and 17.
And they're the first litters from my home bred gilts (and their mum, Adelaide the wonder-Kune ;)) to my boar 'Big Red' (who's not the home bred gilts dad, just incase anyone was wondering :relief:) - I'm really excited to see how they look, got my sights set on some 'show stock' from these litters so keeping :fc:

If you have Microsoft picture manager, open the photo with that and you'll see an option to 'edit photo', then choose resize or compress - there's a different setting documents/websites etc, choose the web version then save a copy (that way you get to keep the original big size one if you need to print it or use it for anything else)
Then, all you do is type your reply, select the 'attachments and other options' below thie text box and you'll see the link to upload the photo's.
Failing all that, if you email them to me ([email protected]) I'll do it for you ;) ;D
