Title: Taking Care of Me

Due to cold weather my joints are painful and doing anything is taking longer. Yesterday OH went on line and has ordered rubber stable mats to make mucking out easier. He also took my car and filled it up with fuel plus cooked my supper. One in a million.

If you've got access to essential oils mix up some lavender, rosemary and juniper (about 10 drops of each) and mix it with around 60ml of oil or lotion and rub it on the worst bits Sabrina - it'll help  ;)

Well done that man  :trophy: .  Much as us girlies like to be strong and independant its good to know it is recognised when we are struggling to be so.  Hope your joints feel better soon sabrina.  :hug:

Will have a go with the esssential oils, thanks for that. willing to try anything as my fingers are so sore.Managed to do my outside chores once the pain killers kicked in but slept very little last night due to pain. I hate not being able to get on with things.

Sabrina, poor you, sounds awful.  It must be so frustrating especially as in weather like this those extra bits have to be done too.  Extra cake for Mr Sabrina  :thumbsup:

I'm in the same position and my OH is doing everything for the goats except the milking.  He brings Pom inside for that, where I am waiting in the warm.  I daren't set foot outside.

Well done to him. Must be something in the air just now as even my other half rubbed my back last night (must have tweaked something mucking out), brought me painkillers and water to take them with.
