for Twinkle to have her piglets :excited: , her first due date is tomorrow so today i've strawed up the farrowing house, set up the heat lamp, cleaned the water trough, set the lights on timers and positioned & tested my cctv. Her tummy has dropped a little today but she's been out for a gallop as usual, no signs of swelling so looks like she's going to be well overdue. My guess is in the middle of a blizzard mid week ;D
OH is running a sweep at work as to how many, my guess is 9. This is her 3rd litter having had 6 & 13 previously.
So :fc: and here goes..........................

We're waiting on Belinda to farrow this week, and I'm sure she'll pick the most inconvenient time. She has done it lots of times before, though!
I'll go for 13 again! (For Twinkle, not Bel - I reckon she'll have 8)

Still no news peeps, when i came to work this morning she was snuggled up snoring her big fat head off ;D so........ :knit: and waiting.

Just out of interest, Twinkle was one of bloodline names of the old Wessex Saddleback which, since the amalgamation witht he Essex has since died out.

Mine are nearly always 4 days over so money is on today sometime one of the reasons i don't move them into the farrowing house so early now usually 2 or 3 days before the due date instead of a week. Her tummy is scraping the floor and her rear is showing signs of slackening, need her to get on with it as i am due to go to Stoneleigh on Sunday for a piggy meeting, don't think OH will fancy playing midwife in my absence. ;D
Hope all goes well with your girls Kim, lets hope for some good Jans between us!
