Title: Flubenol

Does anybody know if Flubenol is a safe wormer to use for goats?
Have searched the web and found nothing but have been advised by a friend to use it for all, even though I bought it for my pigs.
Don't particularly want to fork out on Dectomax aswell if the Flubenol will safely do the same job!

best to phone the vet and check if you're not sure.
Does it refer to sheep in the blurb on the bottle?
 
As far as I know panacur is the only one that did mention goats and I don't think that does anymore.

I think you probably should talk to your vet - most wormers for goats have tp be prescribed under the cascade system, as they are not licensed for goats. It also depens on what worms you have in your goats, I would first do a poo sample.
 
Another issue is that dose rates for most (but not all) wormers are higher for goats than for sheep. Again your vet will advise.
 
I don't know flubenol at all.

thanks all. I have noticed about 3 of my herd coughing so I think poo samples would be a good idea.
I'll speak to the vet then but stick to dectomax if its a grey area.
