Well come on then, photos, my loom envy is growing, I need vicarious fulfilment

  guess you are going to be very busy "playing" ;)

Woohoo  :excited: :excited: :excited: :excited: :excited:
Use the back of a chair and do a short, direct warp, to get going

I did think of that, Jay, but we now have the builders in, ripping out my lovely bathroom so I can have a level access shower fitted. I have been going through all my weaving books though. Weeeeeeeeeee.

Oooh exciting new loom. Yes, where's the piccies. Tell the builders to hold off for an hour or two until you get going :D
I want piccies :excited:
-
Where's the green emotican thingy?
Really pleased for you, photos needed.

If I can fight my way past the builders, I'll take some piccies. I have a lovely book of garments that can be made on the loom and I now have a list of projects.
Our spare bedroom is going to be my studio as soon as we can get in there to sort it, ie when the builders have gone.
Roll on the end of next week.

That's great   Looking forward to the pics and to seeing what you weave :)
What is your book of woven garments called? I would be interested in that too

FW, it's called 'Fashions from the loom' by Betty G Beard published by Interweave Press, Colerado in 1980. ISBN 0-934026-03-3
Amazon have 6 used copies from £19.99 at http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fashions-Loom-Betty-J-Beard/dp/0934026033/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1357839340&sr=8-1 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fashions-Loom-Betty-J-Beard/dp/0934026033/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1357839340&sr=8-1)
Couldn't even get up the stairs today for bits and pieces all over the landing so piccies will have to wait. I'll stroke the loom again tonight before going to bed.
