Hi all - have some point of lay of my own breeding Miss Sugar'n'Spice pullets to lay shades of blue green and tinted eggs (all the very dark brown egg layers are now sold)
They are just starting to lay now and are £18 each. Nice healthy girls and should be good layers of good quality large eggs which should make for a premium price egg box if you are selling eggs, even one or two added to a plain box adds interest.

Will you have any maran hatching eggs later on?
-
Hi, where abouts in Worcestershire are you as my son may be interested, thanks
-
They are lovely looking birds. If you are ever holidaying on the Isle of Mull bring a couple with you. I'd really like some of them if you were a bit (a lot) closer.

whhooops ...... missed these replies ::)
I am between Bromyard and Malvern pm me for details
Isle of Mull !!!! I rarely get to Bromyard or Malvern :roflanim: :roflanim: :roflanim: Its the reason I started breeding chickens as it gives me something to do now I am at home so much.
Yes Sylvia for hatching eggs just contact me through the www.darkbrowneggs.info (http://www.darkbrowneggs.info) site. If you want them for a broody I try to fit them in with other orders. But if you know when you might need them let me know and I will put you on the list.
I will have Copper Black Marans eggs also this year.

I would love 3 or 4 but live in Wiltshire and not sure I will get a chance to come that far up so close to lambing. If you know if anyone heading south that I could meet up with would be interested.
I currently have about twelve hens of varying types but only at 50% lay. Would love some different coloured eggs. Fox had all my marans last year which laid lovely dark brown eggs.

If I do know of someone I will let you know, though its probably not all that likely :-\

I now have fertile hatching eggs from this line. They are bred back to a cockerel from a high laying blue egg line, so it should strengthen the colours up even further
£12 a doz to TAS members. Collect Worcestershire, or can post out.
