:'(
My friends bitch Missy has dissappeared from the farm, please any one near Shepton Mallet/Pilton/Glastonbury area keep an eye out for her.
She is pale yellow, has just finished rearing puppies so has boobies still and has a wart/growth on her front left paw.
This dog is my elderly friends beloved companion and he is desperate to get her back.
As soon as I get a pic I will be posting her on dog lost and put a pic here too.
:gloomy: :gloomy:
Come home soon Missy we all miss you :-*

I do hope she turns up soon :fc:

Can I find a way of posting on my Facebook or maybe your facebook?
I do hope she has just gone walkies and is back now, I hate to see lost dogs :(

There is also a FB page for lost dogs!!!

If you put it as your status on FB, I will share. I have a lot of friends in Somerset. Hope she comes home soon.

Get her on Doglost, it's free - then put her on Facebook. There have been so many lately but I think I saw a yellow lab recently. When did she go missing. Is she chipped, collar with tag? Any features to identify her visually as well as the wart? I'll put something up now but you need a contact number - mobile phone best so there's no trace to a house. I've posted her on 4 lost dogs pages on Facebook - there are many more. You could start one just for her as we have for Angel the GSP that went missing in Yorkshire 4 weeks ago.

SHE'S HOME!!!!! :excited: :excited: :excited: :excited:
I called the vets this morning in case any emergency RTA had come in, there where none but the receptionist told me that a lady had called enquiring what to do with a stray lab bitch....
Anyhoo long story short, the Missy was found in a field near the road and collected by the dog warden. Then taken to Taunton. Despite trying all Friday to get hold of the dog warden they were unable to get through so poor Missy Moo had to stay all weekend!
She is back safe now, freshly ID chipped and re collared and tagged (she is a chronic collar escaper ::) )
Thanks all for the help, Doganjo could you please inform Doglost for me please? I can;t sign in at the moment??
Thanks all :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

There were a few people went out looking for her too, and are a bit mad that she was with the dog warden all the time, but all delighted she is home.
I found a list of dog wardens mobile numbers for the whole country (although some are just the Council office numbers) so folk can have direct access to their own warden. There's also a search facility for lost and found dogs.
