Its nearly time to dismantle the christmas tree :( and I read somewhere that sheep like them.
Its a nordman fir. Can anyone confirm that it would be ok for me to leave it in their field to munch on?
thanks

Depends where you bought it from - if from one of the big retailers chances are it has been sprayed with something that keeps the needles from falling off (as most Xmas trees are cut by then end of November - we live near a Xmas tree farm!). Wouldn't give that to he animals..
We bought ours from the local community woodland and OH actually cut it down himself, so it will go to the sheep afterwards.

We planted 1500 Nordmann/Noble/Norway Spruce years back and sold them in batches on eBay. There were a dozen or so we didn't get round to selling and which grew to giants! Felled most this year and moved the sheep in. They are chewing away quite happily on them.
