Just finished watching a three parter all about Queen Victoria's children. Im not normally one for history programmes and turned on to it on Tuesday by accident. It was truly fascinating and has inspired me to get more books concerning the Kings and Queens of old. Did anyone else watch this? I thought it was brilliant. I wish I'd recorded it as Im sure OH would have enjoyed it too.

No, we forgot it was on but I did see the Royal Baby programme, that was interesting but not too reveiling, the programme I did find interesting was the royal cousins in the mental hospital......I remember my mum talking about the Bowes Lyon girls.....she was a psychiatric nurse so would have some knowledge.
I love seeing or reading anything about the Royal family, although I get a bit more sceptical than I used to, strangely, for a person who does not watch much TV, I have enjoyed a load of programmes just lately, the Africa one last night was brilliant too!!

I watched the programme after, can't remember the exact name but it was about MR Brown the scottish guy who was QV's personal servant. Very enjoyable.
