I've decided that it's time to move my 3 Khaki Campbell ducks in to a new home as they currently live in an old coop that will be needed to grow on chicks in the spring.
I've been thinking of making the house approx. 3' square with a large split door and good ventilation.
Do you think that this size shed is large enough for 3 ducks?
Any other suggestions for additions to the duck house would be great?
Thanks

Would have thought so - I've got four silver appleyards (large ones) in a house that's just over 4ft by 4 ft and they have loads of space. I bought a standard house (which in theory does geese too but personally I don't think it's big enough for them) so the side is removable which makes cleaning it out much easier. It also comes with a ramp that is the door way - just flaps up with a catch at night (although at the moment it's so damp it doesn't close so has to be propped up). The only problem I found was that I put it on a pallet to try and get some more airflow underneath to help dry out the base a bit and the extra two inches of height made the ramp a bit steep for the ducks to cope with. So I had to put some little bars across it to help them.
Only think is whether it's worth making it a bit bigger in case you want more ducks at any point...
