She was about 5 hours old in this photo.
-
She'll need to grow into those ears. ;D
-
They are like Satin to the touch :excited: , she's a little sweetie. The Mum had a single male last year who was also a cracker and went on to be a stud billie. He too has the most amazingly long ears. ;D

She's VERY pretty. Only a single?

I love the white spot on top of her head ;D . She's a sort of dark chestnut colour with the odd little light coloured spot here and there. Mum is a plain brown with snow storm ears and Dad is Bacchus my beautiful black a white mottled boy 8)

Oooooh, those ears.... lovely little girl.

Aw bless. Cloud had enormous ears like that and she grew into them.
-
And here she is at 36 hours....and very tired

Such a little sweetness
I won't have any kids here til April - and none with ears like that - so I'm enjoying 'early kid' pics ;D
-
She's just lovely
-
gorgeous I do like floppy ears
-
She's off to be disbudded tomorrow :-\ . Hate having it done, but necessary IMO.
-
Very wise.
I still haven't taken my girl to the male. She was due in season on New Year's Eve but nothing happened.

it must be hard work being THAT cute

Gorgeous!! I love my Nubians, and always marvel at how big the kids ears are :D Surprised at just a single kid though - we seem to have triplets.
-
All done and dusted with a slightly sore head - poor love.
Roxy - the doe is now coming up for 11 years old so I kind of let her off only have a single ;D , although I hope her daughter (who is rising 6) will throw her usual twins. Then I've got one from a different line who usually throws twins and then another home bred female who threw triplets as a first kidder, so hoping for a multiple from her too  .
I've got a difficult decision to make about one other doe though :-\ . She had a bad kidding 3 years ago and I gave her a year off; last year she came into season was duly covered but nothing happened and the same thing has happened this year although she doesn't like standing for the buck now. Spoke to the vet who thinks could try an eostrogen injection but she knows the whole history and isn't too positive about the outcome :'( .
