Hi has anyone got a farrowing crate for sale cambs area? cash and big fat sow waiting!!

Had real problems with her last time, not the mothering type unfortunately, never normally use one but she lost so many last time from sitting, standing on them and even nosing them out the pen, but she give very healthy piggies when they survive, only going to be for a short time and have decided its best for all!

I see your reasons, not an advocator of them myself but in circumstances such as you describe and used correctly they have their place.
Good luck with your farrowing. If you don't find one in time scaffold pole creches work well so long as you introduce the babies to them asap.

A neighbour offered me one last year - we're just north of cambridge so I can ask him if its still available if that's close enough?
