Title: Crumpets

Ive looked up the recipe, it looks pretty straight forward, Ive seen where I can get the round moulds to cook them in, has anyone made crumpets and were they successful. We can get English muffins over here but not crumpets and we miss them when they've gone from our latest Tesco order...like NOW!!!

mrs m informs me she has made crumpets in the past, and they were a success. So far she has not given in to my constant nagging to prove this.

I make crumpets from time to time and they are delicious and very simple.  My only advice is to grease the rings well otherwise they are a pain to get out.
