Thought this may be of interest. One of my friends just told me about 'Open Farm Sunday' where farms all over the country open their doors to the general public for one day (this Sunday). Further details on the website............

Looks like there are some good events on again this year.
I'm out demonstrating spinning for Open Farm Sunday at The Peak District Farm Shop at Grove Farm, nr Stanshope, my brother is doing the shearing demonstration for them. We are really looking forward to it too as last years was a great day.

I am looking at maybe getting myself to a local one in lincolnshire on sunday.
I might be able to introduce myself that i have a passion for learning some stuff and might be able to plant myself into some voulntary work sometime
