Title: farrowing

Our osb should've farrowed yesterday just wondering how long they can go over before we get help she's ok eating drinking walking about etc there's a tiny bit milk finding out of her back teats but thats it any advice please

Most important advice don't panic. They can go over by a week or so. Are you sure dates are right could it be next season so in 3 weeks. If she is producing milk though it shouldn't be long. :excited:

We find ours are normally 4 days over due date and they get milk in anything upto 2 days before hand, so long as you've separated her and got her into her farrowing accommodation she should be fine :fc: , this is the frustrating part the waiting, does my head in....but so  :excited: .

Thanks for that we so her so dates are spot on it was her last day yesterday best cancel cottage I got booked for wifes birthday Thursday thanks for info

We had lots of milk from our first sow before she littered.  the second one had hardly any - we thought we had at least 24 hrs more, went out shopping, had a leisurely lunch etc. Came back and it was all over!
