Title: mesh filter for spring intake pipe.... any suppliers youv'e used?
Post by: FiB on November 06, 2012, 12:43:44 pm
Hi all, problems with water last night (none!!) - went up to our spring this morning to find the end of the pipe complete with very old mesh filter sheared off.  I cant get the old fitting off...... does anyone have any ideas for suppliers of filters that just push in the end of a pipe (im looking for a simple mesh filter).  Google searching is not helping me this morning, unusually.   Many thanks Fi

Fi, not exactly sure about the specific filter but we have gots loads of water stuff from Penstar, Rhoshill, Cardigan.
Try penstar.co.uk. They are very helpful if you ring them.

Thanks sally - had a look they do proper filters (big under the sink things)!!!  Ours is more like a tea strainer!!  Have decided to jubilee clip a tea strainer over the end of pipe!!!
