Out walking with the dog and she brought me this one.

:love: Are you raising it.
A friend raised two hares after her husband found a nest of five on the farm, and when he went back later, only two were left alive. So they took them. I got involved partly to help with advice and partly I ended up looking after them when they were away one weekend.
They got to adult size and they released them on the farm. We thought we caught glimpses of one of them a couple of times afterwards, which had a distinctive red stripe of fur down its back.

Yes, it's been a while since we had thumpers around here.
It's a beautiful though clearly not domestic beast. Probably hold it till winter's over.
