How are you all today?
I'm off to buy rocks for a client so that will be exciting (not)
Tonight the kids are out at a light party (the Christian equivalent of Halloween) so i get some peace and quiet, yay...
The weather here today is overcast and damp but generally not bad lets hope it stays that way!!!

buying rocks for a client? sounds interesting to me all different kinds out there.
Got a contract to help build a small stone 'henge' next year :excited:

Good Morning
Today I am mainly hiding from 4 little voices calling out "Muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum" every 20 seconds. I usually love having the kids home on half term etc but Autumn half term is always a nightmare as its my busiest time of year work wise and I just can't juggle.

Ah, so that's why there were so many families with kids in Oban yesterday. I thought all the half terms were over
I'm just catching up, sorting out a few bits and pieces and making a LIST :excited:

Well, my day started with an exciting visit to the podiatrist followed by a cuppa with a friend then a visit from a council official to discuss having a stair lift and walk in shower installed. Exciting stuff.
Get well soon, DITW. :bouquet:

Hope you feel better tomorrow DITW
I slept late, read too long last night, damned Kindle, fed dogs and chooks, spend half an hour on phone to friend listening to rant about Committee I used to be treasurer for. Then another friend came to join me in taking the dogs to GArtmorn - not another soul there as it was p---ing down. Went to Morrisons at Alloa and had a lovely (and cheap) lunch, came home, lit log burner, sorted out Choir books for handover next week, quick cuppa then email time - and a quick browse on here.
Good evening, folks

well, I found out today that I didn't get shortlisted for a job with the forestry commission. Which was a bit of a choker as it was just down the road and I reckon I'd have made a great applicant.
Ah well, I didn't want to work for the man anyways. :innocent:

Just got an email back from the site manager, turns out there's a bottleneck at HQ and we won't know till friday now. Ah well, couple more days of wondering and worrying.
Does make me kinda wish I hadn't taken out that "contract" now, still you live you learn...
