i now have a new pc. it has come with microsoft security essentials, i have been using norton on my laptop and liked it for the parental controls i can apply to my daughters netbook.
to install norton on my new pc it needs me to remove microsoft security essentials.
what should i do???

All the security programmes hate all the other ones and try to not coexist with them.
Norton on W7 is an uneasy alliance... there are things I can't change (or even see what settings I have) ::)
Sorry can't be constructively helpful but can empathise... :-*

My PC has just been cleaned up and I asked the expert about virus programmes etc - he said that of the free ones MS Security Essentials is as good as it gets. So I'm sticking with it.
