I know the brown Ginger Ninja pig is really tugging at my heart, he is such a sweet heart so cute and full of charachter, this is going to be as hard as I imagined.  Still I get to enjoy him and have him make me laugh for the time being.   ;D

You're putting me off doing this you know. I'm not sure I'll have the heart to go through with the end bit when it's my turn!!

you will do it ok, just think  how that bacon will taste knowing what went into making it,.Yesterday morning Gabi and I  had a cup of fresh tea with a bacon sarnie , the bacon was all our own work , from the rearing, killing, butchering, curing , smoking, you can't beat it for flavour. give them a good life and a kind death , it's what you got them for.

I'd say ... a fortnight, or a week if you get rain!

i am going to do it, I think if I buy meat then it is exactly the same consicence as this, but you are right I will have loved and given these pigs a fantastic life and I know what they ate, all wholesome good quality food and lots of apples, swedes and kindness is spot on.  thank you.  ;D  Plus I love pork and bacon sarnies yummy...

They look a lovely, healthy pair of pigs. You will be able to do it when the time comes, the bacon and pork you buy in the supermarket will prick your concience much more :pig: :pig:

We've got pork for dinner tonight, but Im feeling a bit guilty now seeing your two little babes. Ill soon forget about them though when its in the oven smelling rather tasty!
I think I'd have to have just plain pink pigs and lots of them so that I didnt get attached to them. Im so weak willed!
