Hello Again

As our move gets closer, I am looking at what I need to do with my little Balwens.

It would seem (that due to my lack of knowledge) three of the sheep don't have tags at all.

I know Shearwell seem to be the people to head to for small numbers... but which tags?  Which applicator? Which colour (with the yellow electric one)?

Help :-\

Well assuming you are keeping the sheep and not sending to slaughter they will need double tagging with EID and a match up tag.  Sometimes breed societies require their info on tags otherwise your flock number and if you want individual numbers.

Yellow is the primary EID colour and your choice of match up.  Speak to Gareth at Supplies for Smallholders because he is competitive and does small numbers (10's).

Your choice of type but the QWIK range are easy and simple.

Ring Shearwell, they will tell you what you need.

I have used their SET tags with 100% retention rate so far.

Go with Shearwell.  They do 10s, and they are incredibly helpful.
