Hi
I was just wondering what size people harvested their cucumbers at? I have some that are nowhere near supermarket size but I still think are quite impressive and I'm not sure if to leave them to grow on. The plants are trying to put out new ones as well and seem to be struggling a little under the weights.

when i last grew them which was a few years back most were smaller than supermarket ones, apart from the odd one that got missed and ended up huge!!!
the small ones usually tasted better!!!

I'd be happy if the ones on my plant got beyond 2 inches before shrivelling ::)

i would take them off as soon as they are a reasonable size, to allow the younger fruit to grow, get em in before the frost takes them.

6-7 inches sound reasonable? :innocent:

I had a huge one this year :eyelashes:,but, tbh,I did not notice it hidden under the end of a potting bench. Unfortunately it was a bit on the tough side so I have put it away
For the seeds next year :-J
