What are you going to do with all the spare time  :knit:  :knit:  :knit:
And planning for  your next lot of  family members too.  ;D

Reflecting on how much you have achieved this year, and how well you did it  :trophy:

Before you know it the place will be buzzing again and you can share your new ventures and experiences. I really look forward to hearing about them.  :eyelashes:

Before we started keeping pigs year round I used to hate seeing the empty pen after the weaners went - but you can concentrate on planning for springtime Sally and decide what you're going to get next time

Our pigs went in March new ones due to be born around Christmas and I already booked 2. Miss having them about. Ponies in at night for the winter so plenty of mucking out to keep me busy and in this weather its hard so maybe its just as well I do not have pigs just now. Made lamb curry last night and it was fab so couple of more will also be raised in the Spring.  :raining:

I think you should do some geese next time very good company eats lots of grass and at  Christmas all gone iv saved my stock i have 250 lambs 100 geese to go late November when price is right .iv also done a hatch a week all through September and through October the last lot will go in to day to hatch the 27Th off October then the clocks move if the winter starts the end of October i have the spring stock .In 2010 it took till late April to get the fertility back in the stock very long hard winter and no sales in march or April the wether has been very bad from April iv put the stock in till the damp lifts a gain i just hope its a green Christmas so we can get done Early  .
