Title: drake for free scottish borders

Beautiful drake for free! We do not have enough hens to keep him. He is very pretty but we are not sure of his breed as he was given to us as a chick.

you may have more luck advertising him in your local farm supply shop.

Do you really mean a drake? or a cockerel ? Just confused about the mixing of drake and hens and chicks... :-\

Yes me too Anke  ;D  but figured as the word 'drake' was mentioned first it was probably a duck - well a male anything will have a problem, even if it is free (they're all a big pest aren't they?)  ;D
