Post by: sokel on October 07, 2012, 09:20:11 pm
Just wondered if anyone else keeps Skinny pigs ?
I know they are not everyones cup of tea but I personaly love them
I have kept them since early 2007 and started breeding them late 2008
I have 17 of them at the moment

Sort of cute, in an ET-ish sort of way, but I think I prefer them with fur.

:D I saw a picture of one and was totaly hooked on them, It took me over a year on a waiting list to get one and have since imported some from sweden to get some unrelated lines

This is one of my dalmatian ones from sweden

I had to look them up as well.  They are sweet but I don't think I'd want to keep them.

I think it looks very cute. The only thing I find a bit off putting are the claws which I suppose are normally  covered by fur?
There...I detracted the topic back from the angle these very naughty boys were taking it  ;) however I suspect the diversion will be very temporary....

Yes the claws are like that on hairy GPs you just cant see them
Plums boys will be just that little boys.  But the real men among us can raise above the childish banter
