Needed another pig hut for next sow to farrow in,
so this morning my boyfriend arrived with all the raw materials and by lunch time had a lovely new pig hut :) (yet to be painted)
Front step is to stop straw from coming out, back ventilation (in a heart shape) and handles front and back so ark can be picked up and moved, back is lower than front so rather than rain running down sides of ark, the grooves are so the rain runs down the back.

Ark is rather heavy and solid but my boyfriend and dad can pick it up and move it just fine :)
Happy piggy customer

Lovely - my OH now wants me to cut hearts into the duck houses, chicken shed door and rabbit hurches.
So well made and great photos ! Martin

Great stuff!
I can see orders for them flooding in to you!

Good result, what a great house

Brilliant work! Love the heart in it too
Sadly my husband is a very good accountant so no such creations over our way :eyelashes:
Pig looks happy as a pig in...

...sure you must get 'creative' accountants Warescot.....
Lovely pig ark Ladygrey, very well thought out and I can see piggy appreciates the loveheart - we inherited a few lovehearts around our place when we came - there is a garden toilet with a loveheart cut in the door about eye level - it has a wooden heart sculpted into it on a hinge so you can open it like a wee flap to see who's next in the queue.
Like your helpful little poopee too - kennel next or will he be snuggling down with piggy? :huff:

How lucky to have such skillful boyfriend. Hope you gave him lots of

Looks very nice indeed. I could be wrong but the roof looks like onduline if that is right I would have worries about length of life (of the roof) and or the boy friend?

If that wafer board gets damp it'll become very chewable and they'll have it in bits in no time.

Hmm that's true, if you've any more of that wrinkly roof left I'd get some around the door area at least.
