Title: Daft Question?
Post by: Scotsdumpy on October 07, 2012, 09:16:17 am
This might seem like a daft question but how do I know if someone has claimed single farm payments on my land?

If you're in Scotland, get in touch with your local SGRPID office (or DEFRA in ENgland & Wales) I think they should be able to tell you.
Here's a link to the Scottish offices http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/farmingrural/Agriculture/AOcontacts/contacts (http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/farmingrural/Agriculture/AOcontacts/contacts)

In England it's the Rural Payments Agency http://rpa.defra.gov.uk/rpa/index.nsf/vDocView/FFFDD11D4803F7D580256F72003DD33D?OpenDocument (http://rpa.defra.gov.uk/rpa/index.nsf/vDocView/FFFDD11D4803F7D580256F72003DD33D?OpenDocument)

And Welsh Assembly have an arm too - I went to our local office in Dolgellau and they checked for me.
