Title: New addition to a Wiltshire Horn flock, quarrentine or not to quarrentine
Post by: NZelmo on October 04, 2012, 02:00:38 pm
Good afternoon all,

I guess my title explains!  We have an established flock of Wiltshire horns and have just introduced 8 new ewes from another source.  :sheep:

They are currenly in different fields, how long should we keep them seperate before merging the flocks?

many thanks  :farmer:

At least 3 weeks.
Assume they have all the nasties possible and treat as such, unless you have a detailed medicine record from the seller. :)
