Title: Lupins
Post by: escapedtothecountry on October 03, 2012, 07:40:56 pm
I have recently set a load of lupin seeds in the greenhouse to hopefully give me a decent display next year. Imagine my surprise when one of them liked it so much it decided to develop into a flower already!

Oh well - it's in the house so we can enjoy its rather small colourful display.

Love lupins too, always remind me of my grandad he used to have loads, watch out for slugs they love 'em too and also bunny's. Think you've prompted me to try some next year possibly with some delfiniums.

and kill your livestock if they get near them - but lets not dwell on that - its wonderful you have managed to grow something this year at all - well done!  (albeit The Accidental Grower)  :D

Indeed - thanks re the kind commons on growing it. I don't have livestock or I wouldn't be growing so many of them.
