OK i know the article is about sexing humans but these things might be perfect for sexing birds! and are gonna hit the market at between 2000 and 3000 rupees! At todays exchange rates thats 25 to 40 quid each!!!
Imagine being able to look through the shell at the developing duck/chicken/bantam/dodo embrio etc.
I'll be away to India sometime this winter and will track one down and if I can bring it back.

Forget ducks Robbie! What about DIY sheep / pig scanning?
-
Exactly... The skys the limit! Possibilities are endless... except we only have ducks. But we could run across the fields with our laptop in the spring looking for unsuspecting pregnant ewe to scan. That would be a difficult thing to explain to the boys from the constabulary :roflanim:

Yes, I definitely think you should try to get hold of one of these if you can Robbie. It's just a shame that the article seems mostly worried about the more unsavoury use they might be put to, rather than scanning ewes, sows and er, humans but what can you do? The argument seems to go along the lines of "If we make rope cheaper, more people will hang themselves!".

I am already putting out my feelers. dunno when we will get away to mother india this season but If i can source one I will buy it and we can experiment!
  :excited:
