Hi there, in desperate need of an abattoir. Our two porker sows were left a little bit longer than we hoped due to a holiday and now they are estimated at over 140 kg (measured their chest in metres and the length of their back and calculated from there)
Our abattoir mutchmeats in witney won't take them that big so now we are stuck. Any suggestions?
Thanks

I don't know if it is too far for you to go, down the A34, but Laverstoke near Basingstoke have told me they have no upper size limit for pigs. It is a very nice abattoir indeed, we use always use them - might be worth giving them a call. They are listed on the Good Abattoir guide under Hampshire. Tamsaddle
