Does anyone know of an elderly dog in South Devon needing a good, loving home? Doesn't matter which breed or sex. I usually have dogs and no homes(so, of course they stay ::) ) but this time this is for an elderly, disabled lady who lost her beloved companion a few months ago.
She has a large garden and an even larger heart, exercise no problem as my friend, a dog walker, will take it out every day for as long as it needs.
I will happily pick a dog up. :fc: :fc:

sorry - don't know any rescues down your way. http://www.oldies.org.uk/?page_id=5512 (http://www.oldies.org.uk/?page_id=5512) may have something. Good luck I hope your friend meets their special dog.

Sylvia, this is a wonderful website that lists dogs in need of a forever home all over the country. Thanks to Shep posting this link for me last week I am now in the process of adopting an 'overlooked oldie'. I'm pretty sure there were some dogs listed for down your way. Good luck :fc:
