Title: Introducing my new girls!
Post by: Greenmoor on September 23, 2012, 05:20:51 pm
I finally have my own little rare breed flock!  After some to-ing and fro-ing on what breed to go for, we finally decided on the Oxford Down.  We've just been to collect eight girls this afternoon and have managed to find a tup from another breeder, who we'll be collecting next Sunday.

They're stunning and I couldn't be happier .

Here's a few pics  :)

Oh No! They look fabulous, now I want some!! I'm having so much trouble trying to decide which breed.  My flock is growing and growing but not with any particular breed. I wish I wasn't so indecisive!!

Thanks everyone :)

ScotsGirl, I was definitely having Greyface Dartmoors for ages until I saw these at Melton Mowbray. We're going to put the tup to our Mules too (and they're supposed to have good feet!) it just seemed a better decision.
