Title: Scruffy sheep
Post by: Mallows Flock on September 21, 2012, 04:57:38 pm
Hmmm....
My sheep look scruffy atm..... esp compared to everyone elses I seem to see.
They roll around in the dying nettles...thus look covered in bits..... they are in and out of the hedges....thus have long trail of brambles that I remove daily...... some of my girls have raddled heads, necks and shoulders, some have burdocks and a couple like to lie in their own poop every night!
Have I just got slob sheep or am i only noticing the posh, fresh, perfect looking flocks! LOL
Please post photos of your flocks looking at their very worst to make me feel better :o)

Sorry but no way!  Suffice it to say, though, that I could.   ;)

So could I.  I have spent the day moving my crowd around and in the course of it removing more debris than I care to admit to.

my lot get more time "hairdressing" than ever i do, including my ram and he gets a horn "pedicure" too, im sure they do it just to get the attention, same problem as you perfect looking sheep in a bigger flock over they way, never see anyone in there having to do the same :sheep: :sheep: :sheep:

Or the boring things on the other side of the road/ hill whatever don't have the gumption to realise what delicious goodies there are in hedgerows?  :-J
