Hi all
I have two beltex cross shearlings.I bought them as lambs as a bit of an experiment .Both are fine and are due to be mated soon .They both have a patch of wool on their backs which is of a different texture to the rest of their fleeces it appears soapy when wet.I recall when I sheared them they did have brittle/crumbly patches in the same place and it had a yellow tinge to it.Does any one know what this is?
