My son was patch tested last year, the result being he is allergic to colophony (found in adhesives, paper, ink etc etc) and balsam of peru ( found in perfumes, toiletries etc etc).
I now use 'simple' range of bath, shower, hair washing stuff for him. Its really tricky finding things that do not have 'parfum' in the ingredients, but I'm thinking that washing and softening products (persil/fairy) probably contain parfum, anyone know where I can get unperfumed washing powder/liquids??

Is Ecover suitable?

Not sure, I looked at the labels but they only tell you the chemicals, parfum is a natural product from pine trees so is acceptable in 'green' or 'natural' products, making it even more difficult! I have a recipe to make my own but not sure if it would block up the machine?

try contacting them, am sure they ill be really happy to give you more info if needed

Yup as I thought, contains perfume. I think I'll have a go at the home made stuff, at least I'll know whats in it, glad he's not a girl, its bad enough finding toileries for boys but for girls must be much harder!
