Title: Fife Council Planners

I have friends that are presently building a Thai House in the grounds of their Thai furnitur shop which will be a Coffee Shop. It sits on a busy "b" road so clearly visible to everyone passing. The other day they had an official come in from Fife Council saying that he had "reason to believe the building that they were constructing did not have planning permission". They laughed and asked if he was for real, he didn't find it amusing. After a few minutes of heated debate he admitted that his paper work did show that they had a building warrant, but no Planning permission

My friends had to go to the house and produce all their paper work to show that indeed Fife Coucil had granted permission. Even after the "egg on his face" the prat did not apologise. And we wonder why our country is in a mess???

It's not just Fife, it's the same all over - just don't even get me started  ::)
