Looking for a couple of (preferably lavender) Araucana growers or pol in reasonable distance from central Scotland (or from further afield for a fair delivery cost).
Have tried the markets (poor condition birds) & hatching eggs (don't travel well & difficult to justify when I only want two girls).
Sad that it seems there are many fewer breeders of varieties of utility birds in Scotland than there appear to be down south ... Some previous suppliers here have either gone or are going out of business and the price of diesel means that there aren't many viable transport options either.
