My friend makes raspberry vodka that way, and she and all her family rave about it. That reminds me; she gave me some, haven't tried it yet... exit stage left... ;)

Sloes are non existent around here this year aswell. Blackberry Vodka is delicious! I make some every year if I can. Gorgeous with a little coke or even on its own :yum:

We've made Blackberry Whiskey and it's really nice. Use cheap whiskey of course the nice stuff should never be tampered with!

Lots of sloes around Wattisham Airfield Suffolk, We were visiting and had 2 Tesco bags full! Now to find bargain gin :D

There are no sloes but loads of damsons here and both go well with gin. We've always used vodka for raspberries and blackberries though I can see no reason why blackberry gin won't work.

My mate tried a new one a few years back after being inspired by our foraging trips.
She made skittles vodka..... :roflanim: :roflanim:
