Been to Skipton today to have a nosey round the rare breeds sale. They sell pigs there but not many entered at all, prices were awful. Sows in pig were selling for around £50. There was a pen of Kune Kune weaners that sold for £2 each.
Some of the sheep were being given away, £11 for lambs :-\ . Can't remember what breed they were and they weren't very big but still :(
There was a Fell pony, yearling filly who went for £280 but then there was two mini donkeys (very cute, me and Charlotte wanted them ;D , OH just ::) and said naughty words  ) one went for £500 and the other was £400 :o .
We had gone to see a Hereford heifer, bids went upto £1250 for her and she didn't sell. Typical the one thing we want is expensive!!

Oh dear, bids sound as bad a Lanark then :-\

Very disappointing for the sellers. :(
