:wave: Hi Jen
I only joined this site a few months ago & have had some really great advice & couldn't be without it now!!
I'm in Norfolk with a couple of large black sows (& 16 piglets) 4 Norfolk horn sheep, 4 turkeys, ducks & chickens and the kid's ponies, Since browsing the threads in the vegetables, herbs & craft sections on here I've also got into the veg growing side of it too now :thumbsup: Who knows... I may even buy a spindle & learn to spin ;D
How about you? Livestock, Veg or a bit of both?

Sounds fascinating!
we mainly grow veg, but have recently built a small chicken coop to keep some chucks! the small holder lifestyle is lovely!
currently we have 4 plots that we rotate every year; peas, beans, potatoes etc..
in the future i would like to have some ducks and maybe some sheep and maybe even some turkeys. How much time do you spend caring for them?
my son has helped me start a small blog where we hope to sell some produce / wood products eventually, you can take a look here countrysmallholder.co.cc (http://countrysmallholder.co.cc) (there is a nice little tour on there to show everyone what we have!)
Thank you! ::)
