Title: Turnip and Kohl rabi query
Post by: clydesdaleclopper on August 28, 2012, 12:53:34 pm
I have just been thinning my turnips and Kohl Rabi and was going to put them in the compost but was wondering if they were okay to feed to the girls. Will it make the milk taste funny?

Possibly...both are members of the cabbage family.

Am I okay to assume they are safe for them to eat though?

Yes, safe to eat, although some of my goats are iffy with the turnips, but like swede.
