They are calling this a livestock and dairy event, but I can't find any mention of goats anywhere on their blurb,
So are they so far up their own backsides that they totally disregard sheep and goat dairies?
Looks like only cows count in this world.

I've just had a look at the website of the RABDF (the organisers of the event), and they do provide for dairy goats and sheep membership... Strange. Maybe they've just had the experience in the past that goat and sheep farmers didn't want to take part in the same show as cow dairy farmers - and now they assume that they should just be left out? Ask them - tell them you are desperate to take part (even if you are not)! :innocent:

After Countryfile last night, I wonder if they'd include Buffalo too? Not that I've got any (anything bigger than a KK :pig: is not for me :eyelashes: ) but I do like mozzerello (sp?) :yum:

Be interesting to know. I wouldn't mind going.

The British Goat Society and Goat Genetics do have a stand there. Christine Ball (on the BGS committee) normally attends. Other than that- not sure what else there is.

Strangely enough, the membership form doesn't have that option!
